Our contribution to more sustainability

Environmental protection is becoming increasingly important in our world, and is also an important pillar of sustainable corporate development at Probst. We feel obliged to preserve our nature and do a lot for it.

We have therefore had the greenhouse gas emissions caused by our company's activities recorded and offset by purchasing climate protection certificates.

To neutralize this climate damage, Probst is participating in a 330 MW hydropower project in India, with partly free electricity supplied to the state of Uttarakhand. The power plant project was commissioned in 2015 and reduces the dependence of the power grid on fossil fuels, which is dominated by emission-intensive coal-based thermal power plants.
