Electro-hydraulic control: speed redefined

The electro-hydraulic control of the HVZ-PAVERTRON ensures unprecedented speed and precision. While the drive remains hydraulic, the electronic control takes over the “intelligence” of the system. Thanks to the 10 programs, you are well prepared for any challenge.

The standard program describes the standard sequence of a full laying cycle. With the standard program and the mechanical booster function, a full clamp cycle is reduced to just 4.5 seconds. This makes the HVZ-PAVERTRON the fastest excavator installation clamp in the world. With proper site organization, you can pave up to 700 m².

The program selection is done directly on the clamp via the intuitive color display or with the optional remote control from the comfort of the cab.

The HVZ-PAVERTRON comes with a 4 Ah / 18V battery from Makita. The clamp can achieve up to 560 laying cycles on a single battery charge. With an optional adapter (sold separately, not offered by Probst), batteries from other manufacturers such as Bosch, CAS, Dewalt or Milwaukee can also be used.

Robust, durable and safe

On the construction site, sturdiness and reliability are what count – and that's exactly what the HVZ-PAVERTRON was developed for. Its optimized design saves weight without sacrificing stability. The integrated overload protection protects the clamp from damage due to excessive pressure and ensures a long service life, even under the toughest conditions.

For maximum safety in use, an indicator lamp shows the various states of the clamp. This way, the driver knows, amongst other information, that the block layer has been securely picked up.

Foldable handles make it easier to position the clamp in narrow places, such as along house walls – without time-consuming disassembly – and also serve as a support for the excavator suspension.

Flexibility that impresses

Well thought out down to the smallest detail – the HVZ-PAVERTRON impresses with speed and performance and inspires with innovative solutions for everyday laying. With its robust construction, the clamp is suitable for excavators from 2.5 tons and delivers top performance in all projects.

Short support rollers reduce the need for preparatory manual work: a single row of stones is enough to start the mechanical laying process.

The sliding slats protect the already laid stone layer from unwanted movement.

A cycle and operating hours counter offers for the first time the possibility to calculate rental fees and jobs precisely – ideal for hire centres and craftsmen who pay attention to cost-effectiveness.

Adapters for every challenge

The HVZ-PAVERTRON is the all-rounder for the mechanical laying of a wide variety of block patterns. Block layers that are delivered ex works in the desired formation can be laid without any additional accessories.

Interlocking block forms are suitable for machine installation with the aid of position adapters. The roller position adapters allow you to move block layers even more gently into the desired pattern.

The HVZ-VA-SUPERSOFT sliding adapter makes it easier to slide non-sliding stones without damaging their spacers. Instead of using force, the stone rows are spread slightly in a V-shape and then gently slid into place – a single operation, perfect results.

The HVZ-VA-180° shifting adapter eliminates the need for time-consuming manual turning of the clamp when laying in a 1/3 running bond pattern. The block layer can be shifted directly into position without the need for additional work steps.

All adapters can be bolted on to the half-round tie rods of the secondary tensioning of the HVZ-PAVERTRON, thus ensuring maximum efficiency on the construction site.

UBA-1200:

HVZ-VA-SUPERSOFT-20/10-8x6:

With the HVZ-VA-SUPERSOFT shifting adapters even „anti-shift pavers“ can be shifted easily and without damage.
The individual rows of pavers are spread apart a few millimetres in a V-shape before they are actually shifted.
The pavers can then be shifted without damage; the spacers are undamaged and there is no damage on the pavers themselves.
The main gripping width subsequently compresses the individual rows again and grips the paving block layer. This takes place in one operation.
The shifting adaptor can be easily retro-fitted onto the C-profiles on the side gripping width of the hydraulic installation claws.

In conventional laying of paving layers with uneven paving rows and shifting with the hydraulic installation clamp into the 1/3-bond, the following situation arises:
The first installation row A can be installed entirely normally, i.e. the paving layers interlock cleanly on the side after shifting.
For the second installation row B, the paving layer must first be shifted into the 1/3-bond then the clamp must be raised and turned through 180° with no blocks.
Subsequently, the side gripping width is deactivated by means of a ball valve, the paving layer is clamped again, the clamp is turned back through 180° with the paving layer and then installed.
This must be done for every paving layer in even installation rows (2, 4, 6…), so that the running bond aligns.
With the HVZ-VA-180° shifting adapters from Probst this time-consuming effort is no longer required for installation of even installation rows.
The two shifting adapters are screwed onto the C-profiles of the side gripping width.
With a C grip, it is now possible by simple shifting of the two position adapters and by folding in and out the third position adapter, to adjust the side gripping width on which side 2 or 3 blocks are shifted into the 1/3 running bond.
The shifting adaptor can be easily retro-fitted onto the C-profiles on the side gripping width of the hydraulic installation claws.
