The VM-X-PAVERMAX from Probst is used for large paving areas – for example, in car parks or larger outdoor facilities where entire layers of stones need to be laid quickly and precisely. Working closely with experienced users, Probst has now further developed the VM-X-PAVERMAX in a targeted manner: the driving behaviour is even smoother, with less vibration and a noticeably more pleasant overall experience in daily use. Thomas Zenth is certain: ‘With this machine, I would feel confident laying up to 1,000 m² per day.’
Smooth handling and precise control
Thanks to the revised engine and cabin design, the VM-X-PAVERMAX operates significantly more quietly and with virtually no vibration. The optimised engine mounting ensures smooth running, which noticeably increases operating comfort. Thomas Zenth describes the driving experience as ‘unusually quiet and very pleasant’. At the same time, the machine remains precisely controllable even in confined spaces and over small differences in height.
Bright cabin with excellent all-round visibility
The cab of the VM-X-PAVERMAX offers excellent all-round visibility thanks to its large glass area – an important safety factor on busy construction sites. The unobstructed view to the side is particularly striking. Owner Thomas Zenth describes it as follows: ‘The cab is very bright, you can see everything very well – especially to the side and to the rear.’ On many machines, rear and side visibility is often restricted. ‘In the VM-X, I can immediately see if someone is walking behind me – this is important because on construction sites, people often suddenly get in the way.’
The joystick, seat, pedals and steering column can be individually adjusted to suit different drivers ergonomically. The proven HVZ-UNI-II paver, attached to the VM-X-PAVERMAX, lays the stone layers reliably and in a controlled manner – a typical Probst quality feature.
Thomas Zenth sums up his overall impression: ‘Probst has really hit the mark with this machine.’
