‘Personal data’ covers also information about how you use this website. This takes place usually using log files or cookies. For further information on log files and cookies, please refer to the details below.

4. Purpose of use and affected personal data
The scope and manner in which we collect, process and use your data differs depending on whether you visit our website merely to view generally available information or whether you take advantage of services over and above this.

a) Informational use

If you visit our website merely for informational use, you do not have to state personal information in principle.

It is rather the case here that we collect only the data transmitted automatically, if applicable, by your internet browser when our website is visited, such as:

- Referrer (previously visited website)
- Requested website or file
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system in use
- Device type in use
- Time of the visit
- IP address in anonymised form (used only to establish the location of access)

Your computer’s IP address is hereby saved only for the time in which you use the website in so-called log files and subsequently deleted immediately or anonymised by being shortened. The remaining data is stored for a limited time. We use this data to operate our website, particularly to establish and rectify website errors, establish the website’s traffic, and to carry out adjustments or improvements.

b) Use involving using further services
Insofar as you use further business services via our website, you may need to enter personal data if applicable. Your data is processed here only for the purpose of rendering the service you have requested.

5. Contact
You can use the contact form we have provided on our website to get in touch with us. The personal data that you divulge as part of a contact enquiry is used only to process your enquiry and is deleted immediately by the web server. Please bear in mind that the messages may be stored if applicable consistent with statutory storage duties. This data is not forwarded to third parties, except for as described below.

6. Cookies and web analysis tools

a) Use of cookies

We use cookies to track our visitors’ preferences and to display our web pages optimally. Cookies are small text files saved on your computer when you visit our website. You can delete the cookies at any time if you wish. However, you may no longer be able to use individual functions of the website. To find out how to delete the cookies, visit your browser’s Help pages.

b) Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (»Google«). Google Analytics uses »cookies«, text files saved on your computer to enable how you use the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie about how you use this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and saved there. However if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, Google firstly shortens your IP address within Member States of the European Union or in other Member States of the European Economic Area. The IP address is transferred to a Google server in the USA only in exceptional cases and shortened there.

Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate how you use the website, compile reports about the website activities for us, and to render further services for us associated with the website use and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Universal Analytics is not merged with other Google data. To prevent cookies from being installed, set your browser software accordingly; please bear in mind here that you may not be able to use all of this website’s functions in their entirety where applicable. To prevent the data generated by the cookie relating to how you use this website (including your IP address) being collected and processed by Google, download and install the browser plug-in provided at the following link:

As an alternative to the browser plug-in, you can prevent Google Analytics from collecting the data by clicking the following link: Deactivate Google Analytics Collecting Data for this Website

This places an opt-out cookie that prevents your data from being collected in the future when you visit this website. For further information, please visit: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de and http://www.google.com/intl/de/analytics/privacyoverview.html (general information on Google Analytics and data protection).

Please bear in mind that Google Universal Analytics has been expanded on this website by the »gat._anonymizeIp();« code to enable IP addresses to be collected anonymously (so-called IP masking).

7. Use of Facebook plug-ins

Plug-ins from the www.facebook.com social network of the Facebook corporation, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA, are integrated into our web pages. You can recognise the Facebook plug-ins by the Facebook logo or a Facebook button (e.g. ‘Like’ button or ‘Gefällt mir’ in German) on our website.

If you click the Facebook ‘Like’ button, you can show that you like the website or certain contents and link these contents to your Facebook profile. This means that information is transferred from your browser directly to Facebook and stored there. If you are logged into Facebook, Facebook can assign your visit to our website directly to your account. Even if you are not logged in or do not have a Facebook account, your browser transmits information (e.g. the website you have visited, your IP address) that is saved by Facebook.

For details on how Facebook handles your personal data as well as your rights in this regard, please read Facebook’s data protection notifications: https://www.facebook.com/policy.php

If you do not want Facebook to assign data to your Facebook account that it has collected about you through our web pages, you need to log out of your Facebook user account before you visit our website.

8. Use of YouTube

Our website uses plug-ins of the YouTube website, operated by Google. The web pages are operated by YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you visit one of our web pages that is equipped with a YouTube plug-in, you are connected to the YouTube servers. This informs the YouTube server about which of our web pages you have visited. If you are logged into YouTube, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile. To prevent this, you need to log out of your YouTube account before you visit our website.

For further information on how user data is handled, please read the YouTube data protection declaration at https://www.google.de/intl/en/policies/privacy.

9. Your personal data will not be forwarded
We do not forward your personal data to third parties unless you have consented to the data being forwarded or we are entitled or duty bound to forward the data based on statutory provisions and/or official or judicial decrees. This particularly may be the disclosure of information for the purpose of prosecution, averting danger or asserting intellectual property rights.

10. Data security
All information that you transmit to us is saved on servers within the European Union. We secure our website and other systems by way of technical and organisational measures against your data becoming lost, destroyed, accessed, modified or transmitted by unauthorised persons.

11. Your rights
You have the right:

- to receive disclosure free of charge about the personal information we have saved about your person (right of disclosure)
- to request a confirmation of whether we process personal data concerning you (right to confirmation)
- to request that we immediately delete personal data concerning you insofar as it is no longer necessary to process the data and the further GDPR pre-requisites for deletion are fulfilled (right to deletion).

- to receive the personal data concerning you in a structured, standard machine-readable format (right to transferability of data)
- to object to your personal data being processed (right to object)
- not to be subjected to a decision based solely on automated processing – including profiling – which has legal effect towards you or significantly impairs you in a similar manner (right to decide in an individual case).
- to revoke at any time your consent for your personal data to be processed with effect for the future.
- to complain to the supervisory authority responsible for data protection if you think that your personal data is being processed contrary to GDPR (right of complaint).

If you require more detailed information on your rights, please contact our data protection officer.

12. Deletion and blocking of your personal data after the purpose has been fulfilled
We process and save personal data only for so long as necessary to fulfil the purpose, however no longer than the expiry of statutory retention and storage duties. When the purpose has been fulfilled and the statutory retention and storage periods have expired, the personal data is deleted or blocked consistent with regulations under data protection law.

13. Information for customers and vendors according to art. 13 / art. 14 GDPR
